The TCS Sydney Marathon, held annually in late August, is widely recognized as one of the most scenic marathon routes in the world. Originally introduced as part of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, the event continues to celebrate that legacy by including sections of the same route used by Olympic athletes.
Runners get the unique opportunity to cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge without traffic and celebrate their finish near the Sydney Opera House, taking in spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and the city skyline along the way.

In 2024, the TCS Sydney Marathon was named a candidate event for inclusion in the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors (AWMM) — a distinction shared by the most respected races across the world, such as those held in Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York.
By 2025, the marathon had attracted nearly 33,000 runners from over 100 countries, highlighting its growing global appeal and reputation.

DAY 1: FRIDAY 28TH AUGUST 2026 - ARRIVAL IN SYDNEY
Welcome to Sydney! Make your way (on your own) from the airport to the hotel and check in. Usually, hotel rooms are ready after 3:00pm. If you reach early you may leave the luggage at the hotel and explore the city on your own. Later you may also go and collect your bib (Bib collection detailed information will be updated closer to the travel date).
DAY 2: SATURDAY 29TH AUGUST 2026 - BUS CITY TOUR & BIB COLLECTION [Breakfast]
This morning after breakfast you may go on a light run along the harbour. Run at an easy pace to loosen your legs, no longer than 5km (approx. 3 miles).
Later you will go on a Bus city Tour. Post Bus city tour, those who have not collected the BIB on the previous day, should collect their BIB and return to your hotel (on your own).
DAY 3: SUNDAY 30TH AUGUST 2026 - RACE DAY [Breakfast]
Race day is here! After an early breakfast, make your way to the start line.
Start Location: Miller St, North Sydney | Finish Line: Sydney Opera House Forecourt | Course Cut Off Time: 7 hours (3.15 pm)
After the race, recharge yourself and meet your friends and family. The post run program will be announced in the new year.
DAY 4: MONDAY 31ST AUGUST 2026 - DEPARTURE [Breakfast]
Unless you have booked extra nights with us then today is the day you check out of your room and we say thank you for joining us. It’s not goodbye but instead, we’ll see you next time.

In case of the cancellation of the event, amount as per standard terms and conditions will be refunded. Initial deposit is entirely non refundable.

TERMS OF SERVICE
SYDNEY MARATHON INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL PACKAGE 2026
- Runners must ensure they can enter Australia to participate in the event, adhering to any required passport or visa regulations.
- It is your responsibility to fill in the details properly while registering for the Sydney Marathon. No refund of entries will be offered for incorrect entries.
- We will require a non refundable advance of INR 80000 to confirm your race participation.
- Final payment needs to be done before 31 March 2026.
- All payments not received by the due date will result in cancellation of the booking.
- No cancellations possible. Cancellations may be decided on case to case basis and as per standard terms and conditions and if replacement is provided by the runner.
