Belarus is an old country and is one of the twelve member states of the Commonwealth of the Independent States.
 
Belarus is bordered by Russia, Latvia and Lithuania on the North, Russia on the East, Ukraine on the South and Poland to the West.
 
Belarus is a land of dense green forests, 4,000 lakes, farmland, rich pastures and industry. The emerging country spills over with embroidery, folk craft and Soviet history.
 
The best time to travel to Belarus is from May to September.
 
Minsk (MSQ) is the capital and the main airport of the country. There is rail and local bus service but the best way to see this country is by car (rental or private) or escorted motor coach tour.

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL DAY

You will arrive at Minsk airport and will be transferred to your hotel. Check in to your hotel and take rest. Later you will go on a sightseeing tour of Minsk.

Day 2: TOUR OF NESVIZH PALACE

Today post breakfast, you will be transferred to Nesvizh. You will visit the magnificent Nesvizh Palace former residence of the aristocratic Radzivili family, which also includes beautiful park and Farny Roman-Catholic Church of the XVIth century. Later you will be transferred to Brest.

Day 3: BREST CITY TOUR & BELOVEZHSKAYA PUSHCHA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you will go on a Brest city tour. You will see Sovetskaya Street, Brest fortress and later visit Belovezhskaya Pushcha  National Park. Then you will go on a tour around Pushcha and visit the Museum of Nature.

Day 4: MIR CASTLE - UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE

Today you will be transferred to Mir - Famous for the fairy tale Mir Castle and also known as the "medieval flower". Afterwards you will be transferred to Minsk.

Day 5: DEPARTURE DAY
After breakfast, you will be transferred to your airport for your flight back home. 

Brest is located on the Bug River across from the Polish border and is a good place to stay for a couple of days

Gomel, at the Southeast of Minsk, is an ancient city with beautiful architecture. The sights to see are the Palace of the Rumyantsev-Paskevich family and the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. (1day)

Grodno, in the Northwest, is the oldest town in the country with a view of the Cathedral of Saints Boris and Gleb (1 day)
